Just a moment to post.
Loki's scans are CLEAR!!! No evidence of cancer.
He will be seeing orthopedics shortly, as well as follow up with urology and radiation therapy, to check on the growth of his hips and to discuss surgical intervention to fix his urostomy.

Good Morning!
Well, tomorrow is a big day. Loki will have his 3 mth off treatment scans, and an appointment with the pediatric oncologist. I am HOPING we will know the results of the scans by tomorrow evening, but it will probably be sometime on Thursday. We have been given no reason to suspect that these scans will not be clear, and that is what we are expecting, no evidence of cancer, but the fear is still in the backs of our minds.
Loki has been pulling off his urostomy pouch, and his skin is really red. So I am going to request the oncologist run a urine culture. The redness started over the weekend, and his urine has that "smell" to it. I really hope the little guy doesn't have a UTI.
Other than that, Loki continues to grow and develop as he should. He is a very active and curious 2 year old. His favorite thing right now is Monsters Inc. He can sing several of the songs, and talk along with characters, in his own 2 year old version of English, which is a blast.
Last night, we watched Hero (chinese version, with english subtitles) he was glued to the screen. With ohhhss and ahhhss at all of the swordplay sceens..... trying to mimic the movements of the swordplay with his hands... it was great.
Also, please keep Peter's dad in your hearts and prayers. He was admitted to the hospital with a deep leg blood clot last weekend. He is doing well and responding to blood thinners, but please keep him in mind.
