Loki's Journey

Good Morning!

The holiday season went well, and Loki has transitioned into his new daycare center (same provider, new place). Every morning he gets up and asks if today is time to go to school. His provider and her staff are doing such a wonderful job, and he just so darn happy there. However, right now its Sunday morning, and I am trying to convince him that 7am....is NOT the time to be waking up.

He recently completed his vaccination schedule, which I am thrilled about. It took so long for his doctors to agree that his little body was ready to have live vaccines. I am just glad they are done. Granted, I understand that the majority of kids he interacts with are vaccinated and that the chances of him getting mumps, ect was next to nill, but still I feel better knowing that he is caught up.

Loki is still alittle short for his age, but catching up, and I think he is right on target for weight. But, hey he makes up for all of that in energy and speed. He will not sit down...zoom should be his middle name.

He has had no more instances of "pain" in his legs, which helps put my mind at ease. It seems he was feeling growing pains and not something more sinister.

Well, I have just been informed...."I'm awake....and that the fantastic daddy is still sleeping in my room?" He makes me smile...

Have a great Superbowl Sunday....go packers....well, maybe next year.
